An excellent opportunity to be one of the first in Yellowstone’s Backcountry on a pack trip, highlighting wildlife and wildflowers.  This early season pack trip brings you into the heart of some of Yellowstone’s best wildlife and prettiest meadows, always a favorite.

Wildlife Tour in Yellowstone Park
Wildflowers, Thermals and Wildlife- July 11-14 “Broad Creek/Pelican Valley”

Ride through large meadows of wildflowers, herds of bison, and herds of elk, maybe catch a glimpse of a wolf or grizzly bear, and explore thermal features on this remote backcountry pack trip.  One of our favorite campsites in Yellowstone.

Best Wildlife Viewing on Horseback in Yellowstone! July 17-22: "Mirror Plateau”

This camping horseback trip continues to be our most popular and best wildlife viewing pack trip.  Sure to sell out quickly.  The Mirror Plateau is part of a Bear Management Area, which has very limited access and very remote campsites, makes us the guests to the wildlife that pass through the meadows.  Elk, bison, bighorn sheep, wolves and grizzly bear all inhabit this area of Yellowstone.
Rate: $3,300.00 per person which includes car shuttle to exiting trailhead.

Thermals, Wildlife and Remote Beauty!  July 25-30, “Heart Lake/Basin Creek”

Heart Lake one of the prettiest spots in Yellowstone.  Home to its’ own unique geyser and thermal area.  Mt. Sheridan provides the picture perfect backdrop to this beautiful area. Wildlife, wildflowers and fly fishing opportunities await.  We had an awesome trip here last season with howling wolves.

Touring Yellowstone on HorsebackBear Management Area, August 2-5, “Pelican Valley/Broad Creek”  (Sold Out)


Pelican Valley/Broad Creek, Bear Management Area, is the summer home to large herds of bison and elk, also prime habitat for grizzly bears and wolves.  This remote pack trip combines wildlife, thermals and great riding.   One of our favorites!

This mid-season horseback riding adventure in the Lamar River area of Yellowstone.  Day rides to the high country for wildlife, and spectacular scenery make for an unmatched Yellowstone Pack Trip.  Also, the opportunity for cutthroat trout will please the fly fisherman in your group.

Remote Yellowstone Horseback and Camping Expedition! August 23-31: "Thorofare/South Boundary"
The Thorofare Pack Trip travels into the most "remote" area in the lower 48 states. Trails traveled are much the same as those in "times gone by" when the mountain men and Native Americans traveled this area. This pack trip is for those who want a true "wilderness expedition". We will spend 9 days on the trail, camp at 5 unique campsites and travel over 85 miles of Yellowstone Park. Highlights include spectacular Yellowstone fly fishing, majestic views of the surrounding mountain ranges, and grand vistas from the Lake. Wolves, bears, elk and moose are waiting to be spotted. Join us for a true back country camping adventure.
